HCL Manufacturers was established in 1999 and over the past years our business has grown substantially, to the position where HCL is now one of the most efficient and safety conscious healthcare products packaging companies in Australia.

Our present location at Coopers Plains – approx 10 kilometers south of Brisbane was commissioned in 2004 and includes three Cleanrooms for the purpose of packaging customer products. Our facility, procedures and controls are regularly audited by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in order that we may continue to maintain our License to manufacture/package health supplement products.

HCL Manufacturers Pty Ltd packaging arrangements ensure compliance with the PIC/S Guide to Good Manufacturing Practices for Medicinal Products, PE 009-13 (Part 1 and Annexes), 1 January 2017. We have gained the respect of several leading Australian Healthcare Companies who supply products to the Australian market, for our ability to meet their stringent procedures that are demanded in regards to the packaging of their products. HCL Manufacturers is regularly audited by these Companies to ensure we continue to meet their high standards of packaging expertise and their expectation that all quality checks and functions are well controlled and maintained.

HCL Manufacturers is licensed by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) to carry out the following kind(s) of manufacture: Packaging, Labelling and release for supply of therapeutic goods. (Licence No.: MI-23112004-LI-000204-1) This includes Listable therapeutic medicines in the following solid forms, e.g. tablets, capsules and powder.

HCL Manufacturers have the facilities to package products from bulk supply into bottles, jars made from glass, HDPE and PET materials or blister platforms made from Alu Foil with PVDC/PE/PVC materials according to our customer’s instructions. All stages of product packaging must pass the criteria listed in the Packaging Checklist before the product can be released for supply to our customer. It is most important to ensure that the standards of quality manufacture are maintained for consumer safety and user satisfaction.

HCL Manufacturers Packaging staff are well trained in the procedures of the Code of Good manufacturing Practice and they take a great deal of pride in the performance of their duties. The operating procedures and controls that are in place are strictly followed by the packaging staff. Clean hygienic work areas are always maintained and all staff who are likely to come in contact with the product wear protective clothing to prevent possible contamination of the product. HCL Manufacturers Pty Ltd is a member of the Complementary Healthcare Council which represents Manufacturers at meetings with Government Health Officials and other Legislative groups, and is also a member of the AUSTRALIAN MADE CAMPAIGN and market a range of Vita Organic and Organic Nature brand healthcare products that includes a range of high quality products such as  vitamin, mineral and herbal formulations that are available for both domestic and export sales.
