Product Recall - Various products manufactured and supplied by Pan Pharmaceuticals LimitedPan Pharmaceuticals Limited manufacturing licence has been suspended for a period of six months, with effect from 28 April 2003, due to quality and safety breaches in the manufacture of therapeutic goods by that company since 1 May 2002. the breaches included substitution of ingredients, manipulation of test results and substandard manufacturing processes. Pan Pharmaceuticals represents 70 per cent of the Australian complementary pharmaceutical market. Beside products supplied directly by Pan, the recalled products also included products supplied by various sponsors and distributors.
